The Redwings successfully recaptured the Belle Tire Championship this weekend in Detroit with a 4-3 final win in the championship game against the GRAHA Kings. The Redwings finished the tournament with a 3-1 overall record. After a year away from the tournament, the Redwings have now captured the Belle Tire championship in their last 3 visits to Detroit.

Redwings Win Home Opener

The Redwings won their home opener in a non-conference matchup against Neuqua Valley 7-3.

2017 CCHL Season Kickoff

The Redwings kick off the 2017 CCHL season on Thursday, October 5nd against St. Viator. on home ice at Seven Bridges Ice Arena . Puck drop at 7:20pm

JV CCHL season begins Thursday, September 28th against Carmel at Seven Bridges at 8:30pm

This weekend the Redwings return to the Belle Tire Back to School Classic in Detroit after a year away. Follow along with the Redwings as they look to regain the championship they held for 2 years. CLICK HERE for schedule and results.

Congratulations to Team Illinois – America’s Showcase Champions!!!

Team Illinois successfully captured their fourth title in the last five years and second in a row. This year, Redwings Hockey was represented by four players;
– Nick Feldman led Team Illinois in overall goals with 5, along with 2 assists for a total of 7 points for the tournament.
– Matt Ernsting collected 4 goals and 2 assists for the tournament including 2 goals and an assist in the come from behind victory in the championship game.
– Liam O’Reilly had 2 early goals in the first game before sliding over to help out on defense due to injuries, finishing with 4 points overall.
– Will Golden was unfortunately injured early in the tournament but was instrumental to the team with his leadership and support.
